I have grappled with issues of low self confidence and low self-esteem all of my life. I struggled with anxiety in professional and social situations and it was hard for me to talk to new people and focus on what exactly I wanted to do with my life. I didn't know how to move forward. If someone approached me in a social setting, I got nervous and didn't know what to say. I was extremely awkward and tense and I just froze up when someone tried to engage me in conversation. Networking is really important for my future and I was finding it difficult to even begin to think about trying to get out there.

It was hard for me to feel comfortable around people that I didn't know that well. I didn't know what was going to happen with my career goals and I felt myself becoming a little bit hopeless and fatalistic. I was unnecessarily freaking myself out about things and my head was all over the place. I wasn't focused on what I wanted to do with my life and I just felt stuck and powerless.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on citysearch. I was open to trying something kind of different, so I decided to schedule an appointment. After the first time, I noticed a general feeling of relaxation that I hadn't felt before.

This has been a great experience for me. I notice in my day to day interactions with new people that I can be myself and feel more comfortable. It's been easier for me to talk to new people and not feel self-conscious in social situations. I know that I can take steps to ensure that my life will be more the way that I would like it to be. I am planting little seeds now and I'm building the future that I want for myself.

Hypnosis helped me to get me out of the habitual mindset that things will always be the same. I now understand that I have control over my life and that been a really great benefit for me. I feel more motivated and I have a better sense of mental clarity, which helps me to stay productive. I am more organized and focused and I have a better idea of what I'm going to do when I wake up. I have a list of things that I need to accomplish and when I get them done, I feel a sense of success.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who has problems with self-confidence or anxiety because it has helped me a lot. I think having low self-esteem is a habit and hypnosis helps to break the habit. I see my place in the world differently now. I value myself more and I know that I will be able to contribute to society. This process has given me the push that I needed and I feel more confident and in control than I ever have before.

I've had a lack of self worth and trouble with self-esteem that has colored a lot of my experiences in life. I've always felt like I hadn't achieved my full potential and there was a sense of dissatisfaction hanging over me. I suffered from social anxiety and there were some missing pieces in my life puzzle that I needed to fill in. I felt disappointed in myself, which didn't help my situation.

I've read self-help books to overcome my self-esteem problems and social anxiety and I didn't have profound results, but I understood myself a little better. I really felt like I wanted to assert some control over my choices, but I didn't know how to do it. I heard about A New Day Hypnosis when I saw a flyer at Fresh Plus and decided to call. I had listened to generic hypnosis tapes in the past, so I didn't have any reservations about trying it again.

After a few sessions, I noticed that I was talking to people more often and had overcome some of my shyness in social situations. I know now that I am a competent and decent person and that helps me feel happier. I'm more at ease around people and I'm more content with myself. I feel more satisfied with my life overall.

Talking to another person is helpful and having personalized sessions has made a big improvement in my life. I'm taking action and doing things that I wasn't doing before; I've resurrected some dormant goals and I'm feeling more comfortable and secure overall. I feel more confident in my abilities and I know that I am a good writer and know that I can be successful. I feel more self-assured because I have less anxiety.

The most important thing for me has been gaining insights into my behaviors. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants help with confidence because Laura is competent and has really invested herself in learning her profession and she is here to stay. I'm going to keep plugging along and I know that I will continue to improve.

I've had problems with a lack of confidence for the last five years. I was scared to talk with new people or with someone who was intimidating to me. I told myself that I couldn't do things and I tried to avoid situations that would draw attention to me. If someone called my name and everyone looked at me, I would get embarrassed and try to stay out of it.

If I came into a situation where I would be able to talk to someone who could positively affect my life or my career, I would avoid the situation or I would be too nervous to talk to them. I plan to become a professional soccer player, but I was so distracted by fears about my own performance that it affected my game. It was negatively affecting my ability to meet new people, to speak up in class, and to perform on the field. I had a hard time falling asleep and I would wake up in the middle of the night feeling anxious.

I've tried doing this on my own. I would tell myself that I could do it, but I just gave up after a while and was never really too serious about it. I started thinking deeply about my problem and seeing how it was affecting me in different ways. I looked at it critically and I thought that if I found a solution to this problem that my life would really improve. I needed advice on what to do and I needed to know what someone else might think.

A friend told me that hypnosis might help, so when I passed by A New Day Hypnosis, I decided to come in and check it out. After the first session, I noticed that I had a more positive outlook and friends noticed a change in my attitude and character. I was talking in big groups and I felt more confident. It was easier for me to approach new people and I did things that I would have been scared to do before. When I was playing soccer, I wasn't paying attention to the things that other players said and my game improved. I also found that I was sleeping more deeply.

I feel more in control now. If I am scared about making a mistake, I do it anyway. The approach that I take now is "If they're going to laugh at me, it doesn't have an impact on the way that I feel about myself." When friends or teammates have tried to make me feel stupid, it doesn't work on me anymore, so they just stop.

Hypnosis has given me more confidence and I don't care too much about what anybody has to say about me anymore. Laura said exactly what I needed to hear. When I make a mistake, I don't feel like I'm different anymore. I now know that everyone is a human being and that we all make mistakes.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to work on confidence because it has helped me. I can really tell the difference in my attitude and beliefs. The main things that I used to be scared of, I realize now that they don't matter. I'm not paying so much attention to other people's criticisms anymore and I know that if I can overcome this problem, there isn't anything in the future that I can't handle.

I've suffered from low self-esteem and had a poor self image all of my adult life. It colored everything in my life and created a negative viewpoint. I suffered from emotional extremes and had a lot of ups and downs. I looked at life very fatalistically and it felt like too much trouble to go out into social situations; when I did go out, I would often put up walls that kept me from connecting with people.

I've tried traditional therapy and anti-depressants and they have been helpful to some degree. I don't do well if I have a “sit and stare at you" kind of therapist and I question that method of therapy. I felt like I'd tried everything else and I wanted to see what was out there, so when I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on yahoo local I decided to look into it.

After the first session, I noticed a difference. I had fewer negative thoughts and I started sleeping better, which has helped. Having the ability to detect the negative thoughts and working to change them has been easier.

What I like about Laura is that she is very conversational and easy to talk to. If I believe that something is rational, it's easier for me to accept, her feedback is both practical and helpful. Life has to have those ups and downs and this process has helped to shift me up and keep me from getting too low. I feel more confident in social situations and it's easier for me to keep the walls from going up when I'm meeting new people. I have put myself in more social situations and I've gotten some tools that have been really useful for me.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it has helped me and it has been a big benefit. I am less likely to expect the worst and I'm more positive and less self-deprecating overall. Every session had something very practical and useful and it's been a huge help to raise my mood levels.

I have always felt like everything was harder for me than other people and my belief was affecting my life totally and completely. A big part of my work involves networking and I could not get the motivation to regularly attend events and socialize with new people because of the stress and anxiety that I felt around it. I rarely enjoyed what I was doing because I was always thinking about what I should be doing or how I could be do something else better. I felt a lack of control over my problems and it was incredibly frustrating. I was obsessed with thinking about it and at the same time felt unable to change.

I've tried willpower, discipline, having others keep me accountable, consciously modeling behaviors, and working with coaches and mentors. At best, I could expect a few days of improvement and then lose the motivation and just let it go.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis on cityofaustin.com. I've been using hypnosis for other health-related purposes since early childhood. Even with someone who is very experienced with self-hypnosis, there are some problems for which you cannot quickly drive your own change, so I decided to get help from someone else. In a matter of hours after the first session I noticed that interacting with other people had become trivially easy. I also noticed that my stress level was a lot lower and muscular tension in my body was suddenly gone from my life.

I'm much more relaxed and focused now. I have a greater sense of control because it's so much easier doing things without my conscious mind interfering. I feel more confident and I'm more willing, ready, and enthusiastic about going into social situations. My office is tidy and organized. You can actually see desk space now and it's no longer distracting for me to work there.

It doesn't get any easier than this; I haven't even noticed that I'm changing because it's been so easy. The most important benefit I've received has been that I'm really starting to feel for the first time in my life that the light at the end of the tunnel is not a train and that the tunnel itself is very short. I'm getting to a place where the hope is realistic that I can achieve what I've set out to achieve and I can be who I feel like I should be.

I've recommended A New Day Hypnosis to others because it's easy and if your time is worth anything at all, the number of hours you spend struggling with something and wasting time are cheap by comparison to any fee. I'm confident that I'm free of my problem permanently because I can barely remember having a problem in the first place.

I've had trouble feeling confident and having to justify myself since childhood. I noticed that I had better control of myself right away. Realizing exactly what was wrong right away. I didn't feel confident telling people that I was leaving to exercise. I was very insecure and I wasn't able to make decisions that I wanted to make. I often felt out of control. I would realize after something had happened and look back on myself badly. I went to a conference recently and people were positively influenced. I'm not afraid to state my thoughts. If a thought comes to my mind, the sensation or feeling insecure. I can push the thought away and control it. I saw an ad on craigslist and saw the reviews. I still tend to share things with people, but in a way that I feel comfortable about. I gave students the freedom to talk to me however they wanted to.

I was a little concerned because I know it seems a little bit strange. I was afraid that I might become completely different.

I realized right away when something is wrong. The change shows in the way that I interact with people. I really notice that I can control my reactions. In many situations, although I may do something that I am not happy with, but I am more okay with myself anyway. I don't care as much as I used to about saying the right thing. I've noticed the difference. Most of my issues were coming from childhood and we were really able to go back and deal with them. Things that I was never aware of. I've always had a complex about my height. When you feel better about yourself, you have better communication and better responses from other people. I thought that being short was such a bad thing. I haven't been worrying about wearing heels all the time and I'm okay with that. It's very interesting. I'm saying no to certain things at work and speaking up. I'm not judging myself. I'm less emotional now. When an emotion comes, I am able to stop it, but I have the choice when I let it go. I'm doing very well. I'm aware when I'm teaching I have to deal with new situations. I notice a difference in the way that I react to students. I'm able to be more assertive with students. I realize that I am the boss and take more control in my classes. I'm more extroverted and confident and I don't feel bad about telling people when I don't think what they are doing is right. It's way better to be able to speak up and say what you think. I don't feel as afraid as I used to. With my family, I feel way better, I miss them without judging them. I realize that my Dad is the way that he is, but I'm not letting him influence my life the way that I used to.

I feel more confident because I'm getting a better response from people. I feel more grounded and I know what I want. I understand things about my behavior were coming from what I learned when I was very small. The choices that I was making every day were coming from something that I learned when I was very small. You can change things if you want to. I learned to understand my past. We touched something very painful for me, but it made me realize lots of things and how these things have affected my life. I really understood the attitudes and behaviors inside of me. the feeling of having to justify myself all the time. I do it less and less now. I notice that it comes from the fact that I had to justify myself as a child. I'm cleaning things out and that's the process. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants more confidence because it has helped me. I'm confident that I have more control and what I learned and I will continue to make progress. If I have some negative thoughts, I can replace it with something else. I'm able to not think about it.

In the past, I tried therapy, but I don't think that it went anywhere. We talked mostly about the present. We didn't capture anything hidden or talked much about the past.

I've had problems with a lack of confidence and limiting beliefs all of my life. I knew that I didn't have anyone to blame but myself and it was up to me to take the initiative and move forward, but I was hiding and there was a part of me that didn't want to give up the old habits. When I went back into the hair business, I was evolving in my ideas, but there were blocks that were keeping me from succeeding and I wasn't confident enough to go out and market my business. It had gotten to the point where I was broke and depending on family members to support me, which wasn't good.

I went to various counselors to help fix the problem and also tried positive affirmation writing. I've read all variations of self-help books, but with everything I did it always had a short term effect. I would feel some relief and move forward a little bit, but I couldn't stay with it for very long before I started reverting back to my old, negative habits. It was affecting me all around to the point that I was even making poor choices with my health.

I heard about A New Day Hypnosis when my mother did some research. I noticed right away that I was getting more clarity on different things. My mind started expanding on new ideas and I felt more confident to act on them. It's been very easy to change my behaviors and I don't have that old resistance to changing like I used to.

I get a lot accomplished before my work day begins and I feel more in control. I don't feel afraid anymore and for the first time ever, everything in my life is organized. My brain is clearer and more focused and I love waking up and thinking about new, innovative ways that I can get my business out there.

I have a greater sense of security in knowing that I can succeed. For the first time, I feel confident that I can be accountable to myself and there's nothing to hide anymore. I'm feeling so proud because I've finally tapped in to what I came here to do and I've gotten past the barriers that were keeping me from success. Hypnosis has allowed me to have the life that I want to live and I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to overcome a block. Laura is a very calm soul; she's easy to talk to and gives great advice. Most of all, plain and simple, it's easy and it works. I'm confident that I'm free of my problem permanently because I'm not in a place of doubting anymore. I know what I want and I see my goal very clearly and vividly, so I know that I will have success.

I've had problems with low self-esteem for as long as I can remember and it's been a struggle that I've had to deal with for the last forty years. I was unmotivated and down all the time because I was constantly focused on the negative. I always thought about what I didn't have and it affected me in a negative way. I felt like I was blocked and stuck in a depressed state of mind and I didn't have a lot of belief in myself.

I've done some therapy before and also tried guided imagery. In therapy, I talked about my problems and got feedback, but I knew that until I addressed this in my subconscious mind it wasn't going to do anything. I bought subliminal message CDs to try and improve my outlook. I think that they might have helped a little because I was getting positive affirmations under music, but it wasn't enough for me.

I really needed to make a change and realized that I had to start investigating things to find a solution for my problem. I found a business card for A New Day Hypnosis at Barnes and Noble and decided to schedule an appointment. Since starting, I've noticed that I feel a lot more positive. I'm more confident and optimistic and I'm much happier when I wake up in the morning. When I have a job interview, I notice that I'm less stressed out about it. I focus on the positive and feel more grateful about what I have. My girlfriend commented that I seem more positive and more confident. I've also noticed that I don't have tension headaches any more and I'm sleeping a lot better in general.

The best thing for me about this process has been getting out of the depressed state that I was trapped in. I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis because it's made an impact on my life. I feel more optimistic pretty much all the time and I'm confident that I will be able to beat this negativity and stay positive. The first step to getting better is recognizing that you need help and I'm really glad that I've taken that step and improved myself.

I've had issues with self confidence, fear of rejection, and shyness for the last 25 years. My lack of confidence impacted me a lot and affected every aspect of my life. I was self-conscious around people and I shied away from anything challenging. I felt fearful and got nervous. If someone said hello to me, I tried not to say much. I wasn't taking risks and I just felt bad about myself. There wasn't any focus because my mind was clouded with negative thoughts and bad memories from the past. I hated my childhood experiences and blamed the past for my problems.

I've tried reading self-help and motivational books. I would pick up a book, read it for a few weeks and then put it aside. I might read something inspiring and get fired up, but the fire went out very quickly. I just went back to my old ways and gave up.

I heard about hypnosis when I was watching Oprah and saw that Ben Affleck had quit smoking with hypnosis, so I did a search on yahoo for it. I was a little worried because I've seen way too much TV and I had a misconception of what it was going to be like. I thought that I might be in some kind of trance or I wouldn't know what was going on. I was willing to try it anyway because I was tired of feeling so bad.

I started to notice results after the first session. It was an eye-opener because I started to believe things that I never would have thought about myself. I felt more self control and was better able to deal with day to day situations. I felt more motivated and started working out again.

I feel much more in control now because I don't get nervous around people. At work, I'm more comfortable with myself and I can talk to anybody. I speak more clearly and don't mumble as much.

I have a new life and I just feel great because I'm going in the right direction. I have these tools that are totally different from anything I've ever tried before. I have more energy and feel better about myself. Hypnosis has helped me to replace my bad behaviors with good ones and change my way of thinking. I've shifted my focus to the positive and it's been easy for me.

I would absolutely recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to work on self confidence because Laura is inviting and makes people feel at ease. She's easy to talk to and is also inquisitive. I feel a lot better and it's a relief for me that I can change. It's like a new beginning.

I've had problems with low self-esteem all of my life. I was missing a few basic things from childhood that I needed in order to live an optimal life. I've felt limited in my life and I've lived a much smaller life than what I feel inside. I know that I have more to express, but I didn't have the courage to do it. My life was boring and uninteresting and I didn't have a direction or a career path in mind. I didn't feel in control of my life; love and relationships scared me and I would run at the first chance if I felt strongly for a romantic partner.

I had five years of therapy, which helped with some things, but not with this issue. The pain from childhood went away, but I still had some of the same basic issues that I hadn't been able to resolve. I've tried bitching at myself to get me out of this rut and that didn't really work for me. It's never been easy to change this on my own, so I decided to try and take a different route.

I had lunch at Austin Java and saw the sign for A New Day Hypnosis next door, so I decided to call. After using hypnosis, I noticed right away that my sleep was better and I was feeling better about myself. I found myself bouncing back faster from difficulties and feeling more confident in general. This process has helped me to make it okay to be who I am. I feel like I love myself more and I'm taking better care of myself. I feel more capable of handling any problems that might come up.

It's all just happening now without making much effort. I feel like I'm waking up from a dream in which I thought I couldn't do things and I'm amazed that I actually feel that I can do it now. The next time that I meet someone that I really feel a spark with, I won't run away and I'll just let things happen naturally.

In the past, I'd always been able to bask in the light of my friends and loved ones, but I didn't feel it inside. I noticed the other night at a party that I was taking in love from one of my friends and letting it light me up from inside. That was pretty cool because I've never been able to do that before and it was an awesome feeling.

I would recommend A New Day Hypnosis to anyone who wants to overcome something similar because it just cuts to the chase. If you know where there is something that you want and what it is, why not go straight to hypnotherapy? Sometimes you need to explore your issues and tell your story, but this seems to get results as well. I'm confident that the progress that I've made so far is real progress and it's exciting to see how well I've done.
