I have a pretty unique background. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, but I started out my career as a hypnotherapist in Austin in 2001 shortly after graduating from the University of Texas.
I realized through my work with hypnotherapy that I wanted to help people at a deeper level and get psychotherapy training, so I went back to school and got my Masters Degree in Professional Counseling at Texas State University in 2010.
If you have a behavioral pattern or negative belief that feels overwhelming, I can help you to develop a healthier perspective and figure things out.
If your intrusive behaviors are causing problems in your relationship or you're having a hard time letting go of a relationship that has ended, I can work with you to create more meaningful relationships or move on from an ex when the relationship is over.
I've been told through the years that I have a warmth and genuineness that create an atmosphere that feels safe. My communication style is clear and direct and my role in our relationship is to offer guidance and practical solutions to the issues that you are facing.
